"The Bachelor": Courtney Robertson And Ben Flajnik get engaged

(CBS News) The rumors were true.

On the season finale of ABC's "The Bachelor" Ben Flajnik got down on one knee and proposed - with a Neil Lane ring- to model Courtney Robertson in Switzerland .

In the final episode entitled "Good v. Courtney," Lindzi Cox, whose good-girl persona had been overshadowed by Robertson's "evil" one, showed no emotion when she was sent home without the final rose.

Leading up to the finale, Cox received little to no air time, while the show continued to focus on Robertson's wicked ways, leading people to believe Flajnik's final pick would be Robertson.

While Flajnik said in an interview with the Los Angeles Times that he requested no models to be cast in his season, when Robertson turned up he said he found she had more depth.

But, accordingto Us Weekly the couple didn't last long. The magazine reports that Flajnik has already stopped talking to the woman he proposed to when the finale  was taped  in November.

On last week's special episode, "Women Tell All," Robertson apologized to Flajnik saying, " I take it all back. I did the best I could. I'm sorry for hurting Ben. I care for him and still do."
