"The Amazing Race" teams stumble over sign
(CBS) "The Amazing Race" contestants got a bracing lesson in the importance of staying alert and following directions in Sunday night's episode. (SPOILER ALERT)

In the last challenge they were told to donate all the money they had earned - either parking motorbikes or entertaining motorists as street-corner buskers - to an Indonesian orphanage for victims of a deadly volcano eruption.
But at the orphanage, where children were gathered around a table set up to accept donations, was a simple black and white (not the yellow and red colors of the game) sign directing contestants to give the orphanage all the money in their possession.
Only three of the 11 teams noticed it and complied. The others were told at the pit stop by host Phil Keoghan that they had to go back to the orphanage and leave all their money behind.
It was particularly costly for "Survivor" winners Ethan Zohn and Jenna Morasca, who as a result of this mistake crossed the finish line in 10th place and were cut from the game in the show's first double elimination ever.
Also cut were last-place finishers Bill Zeitz and Ron Smith, flight attendants and life partners.
Also losing out for not heeding the sign were Ernie and Cindi, the first to reach the pit stop. They were sent back, as was the team behind them, and snowboarders Tommy and Andy, the third team to reach the pit stop, were the first to be checked in. They won a trip to Ireland.
For the most part, it was a warm and fuzzy episode with contestants talking repeatedly about helping orphans as they completed the last task. But the most heart-warming moment may have involved farmers Bill and Cathi, the oldest team in the race.
They finished last in the previous last week's debut episode but were saved because it was a non-elimination leg of the race. They looked as though they would soon be gone.
When they arrived at the airport to start the trip to Indonesia and the other 10 teams saw they were still competing, a cheer went up.
The two had to perform an extra task, untangling a snarled line. "Think Christmas lights," Bill told his spouse.
They also correctly emptied their pockets at the orphanage and made a strong recovery in this leg of the race.
