The 2016 Grammy Awards moving to Monday night
The Recording Academy and CBS are shaking things up for the 2016 Grammy Awards.
On Monday it was announced that next year's Grammys will move from the typical Sunday slot, and instead will air on a Monday night. The 58th annual awards ceremony is slated for Monday, Feb. 15 2016 from 8:00-11:30 p.m. ET (delayed PT) on CBS.
In the past, the Grammys telecast has aired on Wednesday, Saturday and Thursday -- and more recently on Sunday.
Sam Smith, Beck and Beyonce were among the big winners at the 57th annual Grammy Awards this year in Los Angeles.
