Texas couple leaving bar attacked by group, woman run over
DALLAS - A man and woman leaving a Dallas bar early Monday were severely beaten by six men they do not know and the woman was run over, reports CBS DFW.
Police say the pair was walking towards their car around 2:15 a.m. Monday when the group of men started beating the woman. When the man tried to stop them, they beat him, too, until he lost consciousness.
When the man regained consciousness police say he saw a black, newer model SUV run over the woman and drive off. The woman is in critical condition.
The man who was beaten was also taken to the hospital with facial injuries.
No suspects are in custody and there's no word on a possible motive for the attack.
