Tech Talk holiday gift guide
(CBS) - It's that time of year again. If you were too lazy (or sane) to skip Black Friday or Cyber Monday this year, here are some gift ideas that are fun and geeky. We chose items that were obvious and unique.
Think Geek, the home of all things nerdy and cool, was no-brainer. They have my all-time favorite gift idea,the iCade. Atari games on a mini arcade cabinet? No explanation needed.
Some of my favorite unique finds were the iMac lamp and USB typewriter conversion kit from Etsy. Another of my favorites is the Ion Tape Express+ from Ion Audio, which converts tapes to MP3s. My car is so old that it only plays cassette tapes, so I am still listening to nearly-melted tapes from the 90s. This is a really cool retro gift for Gen Xers, who can't let go of mix tapes either.
