Team Beckham expecting a girl

(CBS) For the past 12 years, Victoria Beckham has been the only woman in the Beckham clan but that all will change when the famous couple has its new baby this summer.

David, 35, announced on Sunday during an LA Galaxy annual fan lunch in Los Angeles that they are expecting to add a girl to their ever-growing family. The Beckhams already have their hands full with three boys - Romeo, 12, Brooklyn, 8 and Cruz, 6, - but are more than happy to welcome the new addition.

The former Spice Girl, 36, had announced earlier this year that she was expecting baby number four but was unaware of the sex at the time.

"Obviously, we're very lucky to be expecting again, and this is the first time I'm going to say it: It's a little girl," shared the soccer star with People magazine. "We're still in shock. Obviously, having three boys, you kind of expect another one, so finding out a little girl is in there is surprising, but, obviously, we are over the moon," he added. "Our three boys are happy and excited, and Victoria is doing well."

The Beckhams, who married in 1999, are believed to be attending the Royal wedding next month.
