Taylor Swift to co-host Grammy nominations event

LL Cool J is getting a co-host this year for the "Grammy Nominations Live!" concert.

Taylor Swift has been tapped to help emcee this year's event on Dec. 5.

The one-hour telecast, set to air at 10 p.m. ET on CBS, will unveil the nominees for the 2013 Grammy Awards. The evening will also feature performances by Maroon 5 and Luke Bryan. Additional performers and presenters will be announced soon.

The "Countdown to Music's Biggest Night" special will air live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.

It marks the fifth time Grammy nominations will be announced live on prime-time television. LL Cool J has hosted the the nominations show since its start.

The 55th annual Grammys will broadcast live from Los Angeles Feb. 10 on CBS.

Swift, meanwhile, just released her new album, "Red," featuring the hit single "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."
