Taylor Swift just won an Emmy
Taylor Swift is officially on her way to earning an EGOT! (That's an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony, for all those unfamiliar with the coveted abbreviation.)
The Television Academy announced an early list of Emmy winners on Thursday, and the "Wildest Dreams" singer snagged one of the small screen's biggest honors.
Swift won an Emmy for Original Interactive Program for her "AMEX Unstaged: Taylor Swift Experience," for which she served as an executive producer and, of course, star.
The project, which debuted with the release of her "Blank Space" music video in 2014, was shot with a 360-degree camera and allowed Swift fans to explore the sets of the elaborate Joseph Kahn-directed video.
But Tay-Tay is not the only early Emmy winner!
The TV Academy announced a handful of other winners in anticipation of Saturday's Creative Arts ceremony and the Sept. 20 Primetime Emmys. Jimmy Fallon, Adult Swim's "Robot Chicken"and Comedy Central's "Drunk History" and "@Midnight" also made the list.
The Creative Arts ceremony will take place Sept. 12; the Primetime Emmys on Sept. 20.
