Suspected bird strike forces JetBlue landing
NEW YORK - A JetBlue fight was forced to make an emergency landing following a suspected bird strike shortly after takeoff.
The incident occurred as Flight 757 departed John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York bound for Aruba.
JetBlue spokesperson Alex Hendrick told CBS News the plane landed safely following a "suspected bird strike on departure."
There was no word on any injuries on board, or of any damage to the plane.
