Sunday: Turner, Long and Shah

It's been a devastating week for Texas and parts of Louisiana, tens of thousands of residents have been forced out of their homes and into shelters, hundreds of thousands are without power and the estimated cost of damages are over $160 billion. As problems continue to mount, areas hit hardest by the storm and floodwaters await a long road to recovery.

Sunday on "Face the Nation" we'll have the latest on the Hurricane Harvey recovery efforts from Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner. While some Houston residents prepare to return to their damaged and flooded homes, Turner remains optimistic as he told CBS News Correspondent Mark Strassmann Thursday, that he's certain the city will "bounce back like never before." What does the city need for a full recovery and what does the future look like for the tens of thousands of residents whose homes have been damaged or destroyed?

We'll also have the federal response to the situation from FEMA administrator William "Brock" Long. What type of aid can residents in the hardest hit areas expect when less than 20% of Harvey's flood victims have the proper insurance to cover their damages?

Health problems and the impact to the oil and gas industry are among the many suddenly serious areas of concern following Harvey. Sunday we'll talk to the Executive Director of Harris County Public Health, Dr. Umair Shah. We'll also take a look at the rising energy costs with Kevin Book, a Senior Associate specializing in energy and national security for the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

We'll have plenty of analysis from our political panel. This week we're joined by the Wall Street Journal's national security correspondent Nancy Youssef, senior White House Correspondent for Bloomberg News Margaret Talev, New York Times national security correspondent David Sanger and Washington Post columnist and deputy editorial page editor Ruth Marcus.

A lot of news to cover this week. Check your local listings for times. Don't miss it!
