Summer Michelle Hansen, Calif. special education teacher, accused of sex with several on campus

(CBS/AP) CORONA, Calif. - A 31-year-old Riverside County high school teacher has been arrested on suspicion of having sex with students on school grounds.

According to CBS Los Angeles, Summer Michelle Hansen, a special education instructor at Centennial High School, has been arrested on suspicion of multiple counts of engaging in unlawful sex with a minor and oral copulation of a minor.

The Los Angeles Times reports police were notified Tuesday by the Corona-Norco Unified School District of a possible inappropriate relationship between Hansen and a former student.

Corona police say multiple victims under the age of 18 who have allegedly had sexual contact with the teacher on school grounds have been identified.

None of the accusations have come directly from those students, reports CBS Los Angeles.

Two search warrants were served Thursday, one in the city of Corona and one in the county of Riverside.

Hansen has been placed on leave.
