Steve Knight
Steve Knight joined CBS News/Radio as a writer, reporter and anchor in 2001. He reported from Kuwait in 2003 as part of CBS's award-winning coverage of the start of the Iraq war. He reported from Baghdad in 2004. After a short detour to Associated Press Radio and New York Times Radio, Knight rejoined CBS in 2006.
Knight has earned several Edward R. Murrow awards for excellence in journalism from the Radio-TV News Directors Association. As the news director of KIRO-AM in Seattle, he led the station's coverage of the WTO riots, which helped KIRO win the Murrow award for "best large market station in the nation" from RTNDA.
An avid bicyclist and runner, Knight spends a lot of time behind the stove -he graduated from culinary school in the mid-90s.
