(CBS) UPPER DUBLIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Investigators say a former Penn State Abington professor faces child pornography charges after he exchanged photos with an underage girl from Spain, according to CBS Philly.

Stephen Stace has reportedly been charged with Possession of Child Pornography, Unlawful Contact with a Minor, Dissemination of Obscene Materials to a Minor, Corruption of Minors and Criminal Use of a Communication Facility.

The station reports Stace admitted exchanging nude photos of himself via e-mail with a 16-year-old girl from Spain, and investigators say he did it using his Penn State e-mail address.

The nude photos of Stace were taken in his office at the Penn State Abington campus, were he recently retired from.

On September 19, investigators reportedly executed a search warrant on Stace's work e-mail address and discovered the illegal correspondence between him and the teen. All the e-mails were sexual in nature and contained graphic images. Stace repeatedly asked the girl to send nude photos and told her he wanted to meet her and have sex with her.

According to the Penn State Abington website, Stace won the "Outstanding Service Award" in 2001. The site still lists him as a music professor.

Stace was arraigned Thursday and his bail set at $75,000. The station reports a preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 21st.
