Spankings of young women allegedly went too far, Va. bar owner in trouble

Henry Allen Fitzsimmons Virginia Beach Police Dept.

(CBS/WTVR/AP) RICHMOND, Va. - Three young women in Virginia Beach who apparently agreed to let a bar owner spank them in exchange for money, now say he went too far. As a result, said bar owner could be indicted by a grand jury.

Fifty-four-year-old Henry Allen Fitzsimmons allegedly agreed to provide college tuition and a $200 weekly allowance to the women - if, in return, they agreed to be spanked under certain circumstances.

Read on for the naughty details.

The arrangement supposedly called for the young women to be spanked by Fitzsimmons if they violated certain rules - for example, if they failed to call him, or if they drank alcohol. These terms were said to be part of a so-called Spencer Scholarship Plan signed by the women, and described by CBS affiliate WTVR.

A judge on Thursday allowed a grand jury to decide whether to indict Fitzsimmons on two felony abduction charges and three felony object sexual penetration charges.

Six other assault and sexual battery charges were dropped because the women had agreed to the spankings.

Fitzsimmons' attorney says the bar and restaurant owner did not commit a crime.
