NEW YORK (CBS) Thursday night's "So You Think You Can Dance" gave no mercy to ballroom dancer Cristina Santana.

The 24-year-old, who you guys might remember was greeted by Toni Redpath in front of her large family when she was chosen as a finalist, unfortunately found herself given the pink slip by the show's judges. The other two in the bottom three were quite surprising as well.

Judge Nigel Lythgoe made no qualms letting everyone watching know he wanted Melinda Sullivan, 22, to leave. Melinda has been in the bottom three for two weeks now and has been garnering a paltry response from the judges. It doesn't look too good for her in the long run.

Robert Roldan, 19, also faced elimination but survived. He's usually a great dancer, but his performance Wednesday night was a little unbecoming of his former greatness.

Thursday night's show also featured a musical performance by Costa Rican songstress Debi Nova, singing her hit single "Drummer Boy," while six All-Stars danced behind her.The show ended with a bang of confetti. The competition is going to get tougher as the weeks roll on.
