Sleeping man killed by truck at Goodwill facility
BOSTON - Boston police say a man apparently sleeping under a truck in the parking lot of a Goodwill facility was killed when the vehicle started to pull away and trapped him between the wheels.
Police Superintendent Bernie O'Rourke says the death reported at about 6 a.m. Friday in the city's Roxbury neighborhood was an accident.
The victim's name was not immediately made public but police say he appeared to be in his 50s. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the driver did not see the man under the trailer when he got in the cab and started to drive away.
The driver stayed at the scene at Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries.
