Sharon Osbourne says she and Ozzy Osbourne are not divorcing
Sharon Osbourne says she and husband Ozzy Osbourne aren't divorcing, though she is "devastated" by his struggles with addiction.
"The Talk" co-host addressed recent rumors of their family problems on Tuesday's edition of the CBS talk show.
She told viewers she had not been aware of her husband's year-and-a-half-long relapse into prescription drug and alcohol abuse, which he made public in an apologetic Facebook post last week.
"He said that he's been using alcohol and prescription drugs for the last year and a half, and that he's been an [expletive] and he's been in a very dark place. That's true, it's very true," she said of his Facebook post. "Everybody knows he's been struggling with this his entire life. I never knew that he was using prescription drugs. I knew he was drinking occasionally, but I didn't realize the extent"
"We're not getting divorced," she continued. "However am I happy? No. Am I upset? Yes, I am. I'm devastated right now."
"We're dealing with it. We've dealt with worse, and this too, shall pass," Osbourne told the audience.
"Otherwise," she added, "my husband will be taken to hospital to get my foot removed from his ass."
