Selena Gomez hospitalized after "Tonight Show" appearance
(CBS/AP) LOS ANGELES - Selena Gomez was admitted to a hospital following an appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Thursday.
A spokeswoman for the actress-singer says Gomez "wasn't feeling well and was taken to the hospital" and is undergoing "routine tests." She did not specify Gomez's condition.
The 18-year-old "Wizards of Waverly Place" star was promoting the upcoming film "Monte Carlo" on the talk show. The film, which also stars Leighton Meester and Cory Monteith, will be released in theaters on July 1.
She also canceled a scheduled appearance to promote the movie at a Santa Monica, Calif., mall on Friday.
The hospitalization was first reported by TMZ, which reported that Gomez suffered from nausea and a "severe" headache before going to a Los Angeles-area hospital.
