See water surface tension in super slow motion

(CBS News) Let's go ahead and keep our focus on media that provide sustenance for the mind (with a dash of whimsy and fun!) rolling today. You've done a lecture on linguistics. You've done a hybrid course of zoology and kinesiology. Now it's time to turn our attention towards physics. Specifically, a look at the surface tension of water. Oh, did I mention this particular look is in super slow motion? Oops... well it is. And the above video is certainly one class you don't want to miss.

The unique perspective on H2O at 2,500 frames-per-second and the scientific properties that apply to droplets was done by The Slow Mo Guyswho continue to hold a spot in our hearts and place on The Feed regularly, and who write about their latest work of wonder:

Watch in HD for awesome. Gav and Dan whip out their best globules just for you! This video shows you the amazing bouncing water droplet effect super close up and super slow. It's amazing to think that this happens every time it rains and we don't see it.
I could not agree more with that suggestion (so be sure to watch again in high-definition if you didn't happen to the first time). Another mesmerizing and educational work, definitely deserving of a big round of applause for The Slow Mo Guys (aka Gavin Free and Daniel Gruchy) from us here at The Feed!
