See Caitlin Jenner's powerful Fourth of July message
Caitlyn Jenner had a simple, yet powerful message to send over Fourth of July weekend.
The reality TV star posted a picture of the American flag on Instagram along with the caption: "Happy 4th of July!" she wrote in the caption. "Proud to be an American ... where at least I am free to be me."
Jenner has been in the media spotlight ever since going public with a new female identity and name on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine.
She's documenting her transition and life in a upcoming series, called "I Am Cait," which premieres July 26 on E! at 8 p.m. ET.
In a recent teaser for the show, Jenner says, "We're going to talk about everything. We're going to do a lot of fun things for the first time. We're going to go shopping for the first time. Maybe even some boy stuff, like ride a motorcycle--because girls do that too. It's going to be quite a journey. We're going to do some good."
