Second Cup: Peter, Paul & Mary

Throughout music history, no American folk group has lasted longer or amassed a more loyal following than Peter, Paul & Mary.

The folk legends stopped by The Saturday Early Show's Second Cup Café to perform a song from their new album, "In These Times," and a few of their greatest hits from their 4-Disc boxed set, "Peter, Paul & Mary: Carry It On."

Over four decades, Peter, Paul & Mary have earned five Grammys, five Top 10 albums, 15 Top 10 hits and 22 Top 40 hits, along with six gold and three platinum albums. Peter Yarrow, Noel Paul Stookey and Mary Travers have spent more than 40 years communicating personal, political and social imperatives with heartfelt passion, brilliant harmonies and quintessentially chosen songs.

"In These Times" addresses the current global social climate. It features 12 new recordings produced by Peter Yarrow and Noel Paul Stookey. The album's complete lyrics have been reprinted in the CD booklet, along with a new poem by Mary Travers.
