Search intensifies for missing Ohio woman Katelyn Markham
(CBS/AP) FAIRFIELD, Ohio - The father of Katelyn Markham, a young southwest Ohio woman who has been missing for more than two weeks, is hoping someone can offer any clues to her disappearance. Dave Markham spoke on NBC's "Today" show Monday morning expressing hope that somebody may know something that can lead to his daughter's safe return. The 22-year-old has been missing since Aug. 13.
Markham calls the mystery a parent's worst nightmare. He says she has never been gone for more than 24 hours without contacting anyone.
Another search with volunteers is planned Monday evening. More than 100 people on Saturday searched a park about three miles from her apartment in the north Cincinnati suburb of Fairfield.
Police say they have no evidence of foul play but can't rule it out.
The family has posted a $5,000 reward for information that leads to finding her.
