Scotty McCreery falls off stage during concert

(CBS News) "American Idol" winner Scotty McCreery fell off stage during a recent concert, but he had a sense of humor about the spill.

The Season 10 champ was performing at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, N.Y., on Friday night when he accidently tumbled into the crowd below.

McCreery, 18, took to his Twitter account to let fans know he was OK, and even tweeted a link to a video of the fall, writing, "If anyone wants a good laugh..."

The "Idol" winner, who is opening for Brad Paisley on his tour, joked that the country singer was to blame for his fall.

Paisley apparently also got in on the joke. McCreery posted a photo from a subsequent tour stop where the edge of the stage was lined in caution tape and orange safety cones, which he said were courtesy of Paisley:
