Scott Kelly tweets space station views of Hurricane Patricia
NASA astronaut Scott Kelly gave his Twitter followers a unique Space Station view of Category 5 storm Hurricane Patricia Friday.
The International Space Station commander tweeted out two photos of the massive storm as it hovered near Mexico. "It's massive. Be careful!" Kelly wrote of the storm that looked like a giant swirling cloud.
The menacing storm was expected to make initial landfall near Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Friday and continue traveling northward throughout he weekend, hitting the southern part of Texas.
Kelly, who broke the record for most days living in space earlier in October, is a frequent social media poster, giving Earthlings daily impressive glimpses of their planet from the station.
