Schieffer: Latest poll "kind of scary"

WASHINGTON - While people may not approve of the job President Obama is doing, before now more people personally liked Mr. Obama than disliked him -- but even that has changed.

Among those asked in a new CBS News/NY Times Poll for an opinion of Barack Obama, the not favorable response was 42 percent. Favorable was 39 percent. In addition, 72 percent of Americans think the country is on the wrong track -- the highest percentage so far since the president took office.

On Friday's CBS Evening News, chief Washington correspondent and anchor of "Face the Nation" Bob Schieffer tells Scott Pelley the numbers suggest a widespread crisis of confidence.

More than 7 in 10 think U.S. on wrong track
