Ryan Gosling, Eva Mendes have a "Drunk Christmas"

(CBS) Lovebirds Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are nestling in bed in a new "Funny or Die" video set to the classic poem "Twas the Night Before Christmas."

But this isn't the G-rated version you remember from growing up. No, it's a "Drunk History Christmas," starring Gosling, Mendes, along with funnyman Jim Carrey as Santa Claus.

In the clip, Mendes and Gosling act out the scenes of the 1823 poem, recited drunkenly by comedian Allan McLeod.

Gosling and Mendes are seen in bed together, wearing kerchiefs and Christmas-themed outfits.

The video is sure to bring on a few smiles ... if for nothing else ... because you get to spend five minutes with heartthrob Gosling.

"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!"
