Ryan Gosling breaks up New York street fight

(CBS) - This was going to be a "celebrities are just like us" post. But you know what? It's not. Let me ask you a question: how many art sale scuffles have you ever broken up on the streets of New York's East Village? None. How do I know that? Because you're not Ryan Gosling.

If the amateur footage in this video is to be believed, it seems the "Crazy, Stupid, Love" star was strolling down the street and walked right into the middle of a fight over a painting. Like any concerned citizen - who also happens to be a world famous millionaire - Gosling apparently pulls one of the men aside and encourages both parties to cool off.

Presumably, Gosling then immediately regrets his decision, as we can see a crowd forming around him towards the end of the video.

Okay, so the video is a little blurry, and the lady taking the video pulls away at the worst possible time, but it sure looks like the movie star, doesn't it? Besides, did you get a look at that outfit? You have to be some kind of celebrity to pull that off.
