"Rush Hour 3" Wins At Box Office
Movie-goers were in a big hurry to see "Rush Hour 3," pushing the comedy into the No. 1 spot on its opening weekend.
The buddy cop "threequel" took in more than $50 million, which was enough to topple "The Bourne Ultimatum" into second place in its second week. The latest "Bourne" property raked in nearly $38 million.
Third was "The Simpsons Movie," earning more than $11 million.
The other movie premiering this weekend was "Stardust," a well-reviewed adult fairy tale with Michelle Pfeiffer. It took in $9 million, which was good enough for fourth place. Rounding out the top 5 was "Underdog," which lapped up $6.5 million.
