Royal DJ? Prince Charles spins vinyl in Toronto
(CBS News) On a recent visit to a youth center music studio in Canada, Great Britain's Prince Charles showed off his skills as a DJ, and received a lesson in spinning vinyl.
At one point, the royal tried on the oversized headphones and flicked his fingers on the turntable, imitating his teacher.
The prince was visiting Toronto's Yonge Street Mission and apparently won praise from the staff for his attempt.
The Tuesday appearance comes as the the British royal family looks to revamp their image, making a push in recent years to appear more approachable and relevant than in the past.
Charles recently gave the weather forecast for a TV station in Scotland.
