Romney does Letterman's Top 10 list, asks "Newt Gingrich, really?"
Mitt Romney on Monday stopped by the studios of CBS' "Late Show with David Letterman" to deliver the popular late night host's satirical "Top ten list" - in this case, the "Top ten things Mitt Romney would like to say to the American People."
The candidate, who made only a brief appearance on the show, put his self-deprecating side on display - and managed to take a gentle dig at his fellow frontrunner, Newt Gingrich, in the process.
"What's up gangstas, it's the M-i-double tizzle," Romney recited as the number nine thing he wanted to say to the American people.
"I just used all my campaign money to buy a zoo with Matt Damon," Romney quipped, as the number four thing he wanted to say to the American people.
Number two on the list perhaps resonated a little more strongly with the candidate: "Newt Gingrich, really?"
Romney saved his "big reveal" for the top of the list: "It's a hairpiece," he joked.
