NEW YORK (CBS) Long-time film critic Roger Ebert will show off his new prosthetic chin when his show, "Roger Ebert Presents At The Movies," premieres Friday night on PBS.

Ebert, who lost his lower jaw and ability to speak to cancer, wrote on his Chicago Sun-Times blog that he "will wear the prosthesis on the new television show."

"That's not to fool anyone, because my appearance is widely known," he wrote. "It will be used in a medium shot of me working in my office, and will be a pleasant reminder of the person I was for 64 years."

The 68-year-old, who is producing the show with his wife Chaz Ebert, will be featured in a segment called "Roger's Offce" on the weekly show in which he will be talking via computer-generated voice.

His two main co-hosts are Christy Lemire of The Associated Press and the 24-year-old Ignatiy Vishnevetsky of Mubi.com.
