Rihanna doesn't want to join Taylor Swift's squad
Taylor Swift's Swan Squad may be the coolest celebrity club out there, but not everyone wants to be a member.
Rihanna, whose "Bad Gal Riri" persona doesn't exactly align with Taylor Swift's squeaky clean image, told NME Magazine she's not interested.
"I don't think I would [join Taylor on stage]," the "B***h Better Have My Money" singer told NME magazine. "I just don't think it makes sense."
Rihanna pointed out the differences between herself and Swift.
"I don't think our brands are the same: I don't think they match, I don't think our audiences are the same," she said. "In my mind, she's a role model; I'm not."
The Squad certainly embodies "model" behavior: Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne, Gigi Hadid and Lily Aldridge are all members.
Even Mariska Hargitay, Lisa Kudrow and Julia Roberts have been part of the Squad.
Not everyone is always so enamored of "Blank Space" singer, who is also the most popular user on Instagram. She feuded earlier this summer with Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus also once said she did not want to join the Swan Squad.
Perhaps Swift's most infamous adversary is Katy Perry; the two have an ongoing, backhanded feud that at least Perry has admitted to and rumors indicate that Swift's song "Bad Blood" is all about the "Roar" singer.
By the way, Perry and Rihanna are besties. Coincidence? We may never know.
