Ricki Lake files for divorce from Christian Evans

It's over between Ricki Lake and Christian Evans.

The former talk show host, 47, filed for divorce from her husband earlier this month, People reports.

According to court documents filed in Los Angeles, Lake separated from Evans, 42, on Oct. 9 and filed for divorce the following week. She's reportedly expected to pay him spousal support.

Lake and Evans began dating in 2010, got engaged in August of the following year and eloped in April 2012.

"It's official, and I am so happy!" she gushed on Twitter at the time.

This was the second marriage for Lake. She has two sons from her first marriage to Rob Sussman. They split in 2003.
