Rick Springfield arrested for DUI
(CBS) "Jessie's Girl" singer Rick Springfield was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving in Los Angeles on Sunday, TMZ reports.
Law enforcement sources told the website that the '80s rocker was pulled over by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department at around 8 p.m. for a traffic violation.
According to the report, Springfield, 61, failed sobriety tests administered by officers after they smelled alcohol in his vehicle.
According to People magazine, his blood alcohol content was measured at .10. The legal limit in California is .08.
TMZ reports that Springfield was taken to a nearby jail and released on $5,000 bail.
