Richard Simmons has a new video! Wanna see it? You know you "Hair Do"
(CBS News) Is something missing in your life? Do you feel like there's a void that needs to be filled? Is that void a lack of a bedazzled, 65-year-old exercise expert dancing in drag to a techno song about how to style your hair? Well, then today is your lucky day. Click on the video above and enjoy three-and-a-half minutes of some of the craziest crazy you've seen in a while.
Now, I don't have any hair. I just shave it off. But, that doesn't mean I don't remember what it was like the in the old days. The constant tinkering, styling and trying to keep up with the latest trends -- it's a royal pain in the backside. But, it doesn't have to be, thanks to fitness phenom Richard Simmons. According to him, it doesn't matter whether it's short, long, straight or curly, just get something cute and something girly. And, then he says it over and over and over again.
Simmons, at the ripe old age of 65, has decided to take a break from "Sweatin' to the Oldies" to put out this music video for his new single "Hair Do" (I didn't know there was an old one). And, man-o-man, it is jam packed with all sorts of madness, including roller skates, rapping, church (God knows why), mild-mannered choreographed dance moves, a wedding, and an excessive amount of Richard Simmons in drag!
