Report: Saints' Shockey Hospitalized; Possible Seizure

New Orleans Saints tight end Jeremy Shockey was taken to a local hospital this afternoon, according to NewOrleans.com.

A league source said the player was suffering from seizure-like symptoms in the team's weight room after practice. NewOrleans.com says the player was able to walk on his own power to a waiting ambulance.

No other information was immediately available.

Shockey caught 48 passes for 569 yards and three touchdowns last season for the Super Bowl Champion Saints.
