Report: More victims of alleged "Fix-a-Flat" fake plastic surgeon Oneal Ron Morris
(CBS) MIAMI - Nearly 30 people from across the country have now come forward to say they were victims of a phony Florida doctor who allegedly injected "patients" with substances like super glue and "Fix-a-Flat" to give them a curvier figure, reports the Miami Herald.
According to the Herald, Oneal Ron Morris and an accomplice currently face felony charges in two cases where women nearly died from complications brought on by her black market surgery.
Morris, who is transgendered, allegedly preyed on other transgendered people who were looking to appear more feminine with "enhancements" such as butt, breast and cheek implants.
One victim, Rajee Narinesingh, told the Herald that after undergoing several procedures by Morris - who she felt she could trust because she was also transgendered - her face became infected and she had to go to another plastic surgeon for help.
"The doctor pulled pieces of cement out of the side of my face,'' she told the Herald.
Miami Gardens Detective Michael Dillion said that he is receiving "tons of phone calls from people all over" who say they, or their friends, paid as much as $3,000 for Morris's cosmetic procedures.
Morris has been charged with practicing medicine without a license. She pleaded not guilty and is out on bond.
Dillion told the Herald Morris may face more charges in the future.
