Report: 3 dead, 1 injured in N.C. workplace shooting
(CBS) STAR, N.C. - At least three people are dead in a workplace shooting at a lumber company in North Carolina.
According to WXII-TV, Sheriff Dempsey Owens said a gunman entered the McBride Lumber Company early Friday morning and began shooting, killing three and injuring at least one more.
Witness reportedly said that the gunman, who CBS affiliate WRAL has identified as 50-year-old Ronald Dean Davis, was a disgruntled employee. He later shot himself in his home and was airlifted to the hospital.
