Rapper Tone Loc arrested on domestic violence charge
(CBS/KCAL/AP) BURBANK, Calif. - Rapper Tone Loc was out on bail Sunday after being arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence in Southern California.
Burbank police Sgt. Tracy Sanchez says the 45-year-old rapper, whose real name is Anthony Smith, was arrested Saturday, reports CBS affiliate KCAL.
According to celebrity gossip site TMZ, the 45-year-old was allegedly involved in a physical altercation with the mother of his child.
Loc was arrested about 2:45 p.m. Saturday at an apartment complex in Burbank, TMZ.com reported.
Smith is best known for the 1989 hip-hop hits "Wild Thing" and "Funky Cold Medina."
