Radiohead to perform on "SNL" season opener

(CBS) - Radiohead will be the musical guest on the 37th season premiere of "Saturday Night Live" on Sept. 24.

It will be the group's second appearance on the NBC sketch comedy series.

Actor Alec Baldwin is set to play host for the 16th time, which is a record for the show. He moves past Steve Martin, who has done it 15 times.

"Mike & Molly's" Melissa McCarthy, who also starred in this year's box office hit "Bridesmaids" with "SNL's" Kristen Wigg, will make her debut appearance as host on the second episode Oct. 1.

Joining her as musical guest will be country trio Lady Antebellum.
