Python hunters: Inside their Everglades search
(CBS News) The invasive population of Burmese pythons is a growing problem for the Florida Everglades. The predator species of snakes is devouring the native animals that belong in the ecosystem there.
To fight back, Florida officials have presented an unusual challenge for hunters, both amateur and pro alike: a month-long snake hunt called "Python Challenge," which offers prizes for those who catch and kill the elusive serpents.
CBS News recently took a look at the hunt and some of the hunters and their methods. Watch Anna Werner's full report in the video above.
