(CBS) - Sony PlayStation's hand-held video game console, the PS Vita, launches today.

The PS Vita will set you back $249 for a Wi-Fi version, while the AT&T 3G version will cost $299 (plus data plan). Two data plans are available through AT&T - 250MB for $14.99 and 3BG for $30.00.

PS Vita first edition bundle includes a PS Vita 3G + WiFi model, 4GB memory card, Little Deviants and a limited edition case for $349.99. Video games for the PS Vita will range from $9.99 to $49.00. We posted a full list of launch titles at Tech Talk.

Keep in mind the hidden cost, which was pointed out by CNET's Jeff Bakalar in an in-depth review of the device. Gamers will have to buy a memory cards range from about $20 for 4GB to $100 for a 32GB card - making the initial cost anywhere between about $270-$320.
