Pro-Clinton super PAC attacks Trump in first general-election ads
Hillary Clinton's allies are officially entering the general election.
A pair of new ads out Monday, from pro-Clinton super PAC Priorities USA, go on the attack against presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump, skewering the candidate for his treatment of women.
One ad, titled "Speak," features women mouthing along with Trump's previous comments about women, as an audio track of Trump speaking plays.
"You could see there was blood coming out of her, wherever," one woman says.
Another mouths: "If Ivanka weren't my daughter, perhaps I'd be dating her."
"Does Donald Trump really speak for you?" the ad's narrator asks.
A second ad out from Priorities, titled "Respect," is a more traditional ad that uses clips of Trump speaking to and about women, along with footage of him saying at a rally: "No one respects women more than Donald Trump."
"Donald Trump is wrong for us," the ad concludes.
"Speak" is reminiscent of one from the anti-Trump super PAC Our Principles PAC earlier this spring, which featured women reading out a series of derogatory remarks Trump has made about women.
The ads are airing statewide in Ohio, Florida, Virginia and Nevada.
