Prison inmates dance to Psy's hit "Gangnam Style"
(CBS News) Do you remember back in 2007 when a video spread across the Internet like wildfire showing prison inmates dancing to Michael Jackson's "Thriller"? Sure you do, it was huge! Well, those same inmates are back (okay, maybe not the exact same inmates, as I'm sure some have been paroled since then) with a new dance rendition to a certain K-Pop phenomenon who has gotten extensive coverage here on The Feed. Can you guess who I might be talking about? Shhhhh! Don't say it out loud and spoil it for everyone else. Just go ahead and watch to find out.
So I'm sure you were able to guess I was probably talking about Korean superstar Psy. The prison style version of "Gangnam Style" was posted by YouTube user Ryan Christopher who writes:
Due to insistent public demand, the world renowned dancing inmates of Cebu finally had their own version of Psy's Gangnam Style music video.
So do you think this new one tops the previous dance video of CPDRC (Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center) inmates dancing to Michael Jackson's "Thriller" or does it not quite meet that high bar? Feel free to leave me some comment love below with your thoughts.Despite the heavy rain yesterday afternoon, Sept. 29, at least a thousand inmates of the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) entertained guests with their ecstatic adoption of the Guinness World Record holder for the "Most Liked in YouTube." Credits to Mark Anthony Bautista for taking the video.
