See Princess Charlotte's christening photos shot by Mario Testino
The British royal family shines in official photos from Princess Charlotte's christening, which were released Thursday.
Shot by famed photographer Mario Testino, the images were taken Sunday at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Norfolk, England. In 1997, Testino was commissioned to photograph Princess Diana for Vanity Fair, and he's been regularly employed by the British royal family ever since.
"Photographing Princess Charlotte's christening was an amazing experience," Testino told "Entertainment Tonight." "What impressed me the most was the energy of the family, and of that between the Duke and Duchess. One sees how solid they are together and one gets a sense of their strong family values."
"It was incredible to be able to document four generations of the British Royal Family together -- the monarch and three heirs to the throne -- and very heartwarming to see the close relationship between them all," he added.
A spokesman for Prince William and Duchess Kate said they are "very happy to share these photographs and hope that everyone enjoys them as much as they do."
The christening was private, with Queen Elizabeth II, her husband Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Kate's family among a small group of guests allowed inside. Guests also included five godparents that William and Kate chose for Charlotte.
