President Obama's Schedule Today (5/24/10)

In the morning, President Obama will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. Later, the president will attend a reception for the Federal Judge Association at the White House.

Mr. Obama will meet with senior advisers in the Oval Office. The president will then participate in the daily briefing call with Gulf Coast Governors on the BP oil spill.

In the afternoon, Mr. Obama will welcome Prime Minister Saad Hariri of Lebanon to the White House. This will be the Prime Minister's first official visit to Washington during his premiership and the president looks forward to consulting with Prime Minister Hariri on a broad range of mutual goals in support of Lebanon's sovereignty and independence, and regional peace and security.

Later, Mr. Obama will host a reception to celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in the East Room.

The president will then meet with Secretary of Defense Gates in the Oval Office.
