Prepare For Preppy Look's Return!
Remember the polo shirts with the collars up, slip-on boat shoes, plaid shirts, etc.? They're all reappearing this fall, with some minor modifications.
The preppy look is being mixed with other trends such as metallics and patents, to give it a fun, modern twist, according to InStyle magazine (www.instyle.com/instyle) national correspondent Katrina Szish.
She says you'll see the trend everywhere from Old Navy to the big fashion houses, and she lent her expertise to The Early Show's "Chic on a Shoestring" Wednesday.
In "Chic on a Shoestring," expensive, "splurge" clothing is shown along with much more reasonably priced items, referred to as "steals." It's often hard to tell the difference, but players do their best to pick the bargains.
On Wednesday, the The Early Show co-anchors were joined in the game by Jamie Sadler, the first winner of the new CBS game show, "Power of Ten."

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE:
Jussara is more expensive because it's a higher quality cashmere cardigan. It's also a hand-knit and comes from a company that makes all the knits for the royal family. The price point reflects the details and intricate handiwork/craftsmanship. The J.Crew is a great buy for the style and material.
