Predators' Dunham Out For Awhile

Nashville Predators goalie Mike Dunham has injured his groin for the third time this season and is expected to miss at least three weeks.

Dunham was injured Saturday night while unsuccessfully trying to defend Markus Naslund's penalty shot during the Predators' 6-4 victory over Vancouver. It was his first start since Nov. 29, when he was hurt in a loss to the New York Rangers.

  • Dunham also missed part of training camp with a groin injury.

"We didn't let it heal 100 percent from the last time, and the muscle wasn't strong enough," Dunham said of his latest injury. "I'm not worried about this affecting the rest of my career. I just need to let it heal completely this time."
