Polynice Signs Two-Year Deal
Center Olden Polynice passed a physical exam Tuesday, validating his contract with the Utah Jazz.
The 12-year NBA veteran signed a two-year deal Friday, contingent that he pass the exam. Salary wasn't disclosed, although the Jazz this summer had $1 million and $2 million salary-cap exemptions.
Polynice, 34, played in 48 games last season with the Seattle SuperSonics, averaging 7.7 points and 8.9 rebounds per game.
During a career that has included stops with four other teams, the 7-foot, 250-pound center averages 8.3 points and 7.0 rebounds per game.
