Police: Man tried to lure young Minneapolis girls into his car
MINNEAPOLIS -- Police in Minneapolis say they're looking for a man who attempted to lure several young girls into his car Tuesday morning, reports CBS Minnesota.
Witnesses reported seeing the man in an older, green SUV in south Minneapolis around 9:30 a.m., allegedly offering to drive children to a nearby elementary school.
Witnesses told police the man -- described as a black male with short hair who might have been in his 40s -- first tried to pick up two junior high-aged girls. When they declined, he asked two younger girls.
When witnesses warned the young girls about the man, he drove off, according to police.
